This luxury air conditioned 3 room studio offers a cosy intimate couples’ retreat in a highly sought after location on the Katoomba escarpment.

Your studio is situated on the ground floor to the side of the main house with it’s own private self checkin lockbox. The entrance is secured by a brown gate and a white brick wall for your privacy.

Your studio sleeps 2 guests and consists of a spacious and stylish, double bedroom with a comfortable King bed, electric blankets, loungeroom and a bathroom with shower. A reverse cycle airconditioner.
The loungeroom has a sofabed for guests who want to sleep separately.

The Kitchenette only offers very basic cooking with electric frypan or choose to cook on the electric bbq in your private courtyard for alfresco dining.

Your private courtyard includes an outdoor table and chairs, a 2 seater lounge and 2 sunlounges to take in the view.

No view from inside the studio as the studio is located on the side of the main house.

Sterling Manor the perfect couples retreat and family getaway. An enchanting 1950’s period home, with a 50yr history. Formerly the home of the famous Astrologer to the Stars, Richard Sterling.

The décor is a mix of eclectic and French provincial with it’s original Axminster carpet and 1970’s character filled, mirrored bedroom wall with crystal chandelier still inplace.

The ground floor apartment of a 2 storey house with 180°degree uninterrupted OMG views of the Jamison Valley.

The spacious 8m deck offers the perfect viewing platform to relax on comfortable furniture. Enjoy a BBQ and a glass of champagne to celebrate life!

The dining room is a great spot to sit and read whilst watching the colours of the escarpment change, cockatoos flying by and the kitchen also has views.

A Sanctuary of Peace

This is truly a unique property to experience. It offers so much more than most, with a relaxing, healing vibe that is so rejuvenating. You are encouraged to sit for a while.

There are peaceful areas in the gardens below. The Meditation Gazebo, or further down in the Aquarius section.
Home to many colourful birds. It's a delight to bird watch... Crimson Rozellas, Red/Green King Parrots, Yellow breasted Robins, Finches, Cockatoos & Lyrebirds who dig up the garden.

Our studio guests share the far left side of the courtyard in their dedicated Aries section. Just say hi as you would in a hotel or guest house so everyone feels comfortable.

Kitchen
Renovated in April 2024. The kitchen colour palette of white and grey has been chosen to evoke a light, bright and calming feeling. An invitation to slow down, transforming the room into a peaceful sanctuary. The view then takes over for your cooking inspiration. Fully equipped including staple pantry items, oil, spices, Condiments.

Your nightly tariff is inclusive of 2 guests thereafter each additional guest is $70/ person per night.

For the benefit of all guests staying at the house, there is a 10pm curfew where we ask that you lower your voices.

Bedroom 2 is located in the sunroom, and entrance to the apartment. There are 2 king single beds that can be converted to a super king bed. There is also a comfy double sofa bed for an extra guest. Please advise us at time of booking.
